This HinsonGayle classic pearl necklace is composed of handpicked premium white freshwater pearls. The pearls were selected for their near round shapes, lovely overtones, naturally high luster and hints of rare surface iridescence.
Unlike Akoya saltwater pearls, HinsonGayle premium freshwater pearls are 100% solid nacre pearls and do not have a shell bead inside them; in other words, their near round shapes formed naturally in the shell without the assistance of an inserted bead.
The pearls are individually hand knotted on fine Japanese thread by HinsonGayle skilled artisan and finished with a premium hand-polished 925 sterling silver double-safety clasp. Select either the 6.5-7.0mm, for girls and women who prefer small pearl necklaces, or the 7.5-8mm for more standard sized pearls.
